It’s true: Life is better at the lake.
When the mind is buzzing, take a plunge into the cool water. Paddle with the canoe into freedom. Or simply gaze into the blue and contemplate. The direct access to the lake is, in a way, the soul of our place. With a small bathing spot and a boat dock, the bay offers numerous opportunities to take refreshing breaks and enjoy proximity to nature. By the way, theoretically, one could sail from here to Berlin.
Art Nouveau Villa meets GDR Bungalows.
Our historic Art Nouveau Villa (1902) sits atop the gentle hill on our grounds, effortlessly combining history with the present. Across three floors, it offers plenty of space for various communal rooms and quiet retreat spots. Just a short walk across the meadow stand five GDR-era Bungalows, renovated by us by hand. The theme: cosy minimalism.

When we say you can breathe deeply here, we mean it in every sense: thanks to our small woodland and large meadow, the air in Neupitz is literally pure. With two hectares of land, the grounds offer plenty of room for exploring and discovering new paths. Once you have found your favourite spot, simply grab a folding table and settle in.

Lake Teupitz
Neupitz (in Teupitz) is not only optimally connected in terms of transportation — theoretically, you could also leave the land by boat. No joke. Lake Teupitz, surrounded by forest landscapes, is of natural origin and formed during the last Ice Age. Its idyllic setting has inspired people for centuries. Even Theodor Fontane regularly sailed through the waterways from Berlin to here.

»The old [...] we should love, but the new [...] we should live,« mused Theodor Fontane once — encapsulating Teupitz perfectly. Here, origin is honoured, and progress is appreciated. With direct access to the Dahme and Berlin-Dresden cycling route, as well as the 66 Lakes Hiking Trail, the small city invites to be active. But also to linger and enjoy: with two ice cream parlours and smoked fish.

Dahme-Spreewald region
The Dahme-Spreewald region, where Teupitz is located, is among the most water-rich areas in Germany. With more than 70 lakes and waterways stretching up to 80 kilometres, you can jump into a different water every day in the summer. The region is 42.2% forested and consists of 35.6% agriculturally utilised areas. In other words: forests, meadows, and water as far as the eye can see.
How to get there
Berlin: so close — and yet far enough away
There are plenty of beautiful places in Brandenburg, but many are challenging to access. Here, it's a different story: Teupitz (the home of Neupitz) is just 54 kilometres away from the heart of Berlin, offers a nearby train station, and enjoys excellent connectivity. We're essentially close by — yet far enough to create a sense of distance and escape.
By train and bus
The RE 7 towards Senftenberg runs once an hour to Groß Köris (only 34 minutes from Ostkreuz). At the station take bus 726 or 727 and get off five minutes later at "Teupitz, Bergstraße", right at the foot of our grounds.
By car
Just an hour from Alexanderplatz: take the A113 and A13 towards Dresden and leave at the Groß Köris exit. Coming from the other direction, exit at Teupitz. A few minutes later you reach our grounds.
By bike
If you like it sporty, take the bike from Berlin towards Schmöckwitz. Turn right, pass the lakes at Zeuthen and Königs Wusterhausen and ride into Groß Köris. From there it is another 10 minutes to us.
